What?

A photo contest celebrating the beauty of Silvermine in four categories:

Waterscapes
Historic
Floral/Plants
Wildlife (No pets please)

Photos will be judged and scored by professional photographers, independent of SCA, in areas such as composition/arrangement, creativity, technical quality, category relevance, and overall Silvermine representation. View the Judging Criteria.

Who?

Open to all current SCA members/households.

Prize?

All submissions will be displayed at the SCA Fall Social. Professional judges will score all photos to determine the top-scoring photos to be featured in a 2025 Silvermine Calendar and on notecards.

When?

All photos must be submitted by August 31, 2024.

Judging will take place in September. Winners will be announced at the SCA Fall Social in October. Calendar and notecards will be available for purchase on the SCA website in December 2024. Proceeds will support SCA programming and the annual Silvermine Scholarship for college-bound students.
