annual
Summer
Solstice
Wine Tasting
event will
take place
this year on
June 20th
beginning at
6:30 at the
Silvermine
Golf Club on Seir Hill
Rd. in
Silvermine,
Norwalk.
We are
ordering
another
starry night
this year
and will be
enjoying a
feast of
buffet foods
and fabulous
wines in the
main dining
room and
outdoor
patio by
candlelight..
A staff
of
knowledgeable
sommeliers
will regale
us with the
characteristics
of each wine
we will be
tasting and
the silent
auction will
feature many
highly
desirable
items for
you to bid
on.
It is not
too early to
save the
date and
make your
reservations.
We are
limited to
the first
130
reservations
that come in
and, as last
year, are
expecting an
early
sellout.
Most
importantly,
this
fundraiser
is to
benefit the
most needy
in our
Silvermine
Community..
We
grossed
almost
$11,000, and
the
projected
profits got
our "SCA
Helping
Hands"
(neighbors
in need)
initiative
off to an
outstanding
start
