one of this year's four recipients of the SCA scholarship awards.
Marshall graduated from Norwalk High School with
honors and is now attending the University of
Wisconsin-Madison, majoring in education. Other
scholarship winners from Norwalk High School are Leanna Dunsmore, who
will be attending Bucknell University In PA., studying biology and Gillian Henson, who will
attend the University of Vermont and will be pursuing
pre-veterinary medicine. The fourth scholarship winner is Christina Kealin
, a graduate of Wilton High School who is now pursuing
computer sciences at Princeton.
The scholarship is funded primarily through SCA events
such as the annual pancake breakfast. It also benefits from
direct donations from Silvermine residents. High school
seniors living in Silvermine area are encouraged to
apply each spring for consideration.
