The Silvermine Community Association is extremely active. Some of our most recent events include:

• The Annual Summer Solstice Wine tasting which has raised more than $12,000 that is already hard at work helping the needy in Silvermine through our new "Helping Hands" program.

• Meet and Mingle evenings, when you could see old friends and meet new neighbors

• Our annual spring Pancake Breakfast

• A Scholarship Fund that awarded four young Silvermine college-bound students scholarships in 2010 for their exceptional achievements

• Informational Meetings about construction and road works that affect Silvermine, the Merritt/Main Street overpass, and the effort to establish Silvermine as an historic district.

• The annual Pot Luck dinner is a wonderful way to spend a warm evening with neighbors, enjoying an array of outstanding dishes and great conversation - the perfect way to ward off the cold of winter.

• The arrival of Santa Claus on Christmas Eve in the antique fire truck.

• Spring and Fall Trash Walks to help keep Silvermine clean
